This component presented is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard version for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this cutter is in the medium range.
This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.
Components of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.
We underline that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the cutter, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The product has a drilling for installing to M12 threads.
It is imperative that the cutting crown is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

This cutting tool measures 40mm in length, 40mm in width and 20mm in height.
