The counter knife exactly fits the Weima WLK model by the machine producer Weima Maschinenbau GmbH.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The efficiency of this component depends largely on the version of the material and shape.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-variation and is therefore less susceptible to fractures. This makes this W-option ideal for applications where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this variant has a shorter service life.

In this variant, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this version, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This spare part is fitting for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
